What data the app processes
In short: Wilmoor Focus has no account, no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDKs. We receive no data from the app.
Storage. The app stores goals, work packages, tasks, focus sessions, reviews, photos and settings in a database on your device, protected by iOS file protection. The database is part of your regular device or iCloud backup.
Notifications. When a focus session ends, the app shows a local notification with generic text and no task or goal names. There are no push notifications from a server. The app asks for permission the first time you start a focus session.
Camera and photos. The app uses the camera only when you take a photo for a task. If you pick a picture from your library, the app receives only that picture and no access to the library. Photos are downscaled before they are stored, which removes metadata such as the location. They stay on the device and in your backups.
Siri and Shortcuts. When you add a task with Siri, Siri recognizes the speech under Apple’s terms. The app receives only the task title and stores it on the device.
Import and export. Exports and backups are unencrypted files. They leave the device only where you save or share them yourself.
Deleting. You can delete all data in the app’s settings. Backups you made earlier still contain the data.
